World Changing Ideas 2024

Fast Company’s annual World Changing Ideas Awards honor the businesses and organizations that are developing creative solutions to the most pressing issues of our time.

This year, we saw hundreds of projects tackling climate change, from efforts to green the steel industry to the first fully recycled concrete building in the world. We have honorees working to make things like credit scores, public restrooms, and tax filing more equitable. There are innovative solutions in agriculture—from a nontoxic pesticide that protects citrus trees to a bulk fertilizer bag that can be endlessly recycled. We have projects that created a support system for veterans, a training program for refugees, and a certification to support student-parents in college.
