Victoria bookstore owner receives bonus from James Patterson

A best-selling author has made the holidays a little more merry and bright for a Victoria bookstore owner.
Angie Ross of Chapter One in downtown Victoria is a recipient of a cash bonus thanks to the James Patterson Holiday Bonus program.
The Florida-based author has been giving out bonuses during the holiday season since 2015 via the program. This year, his personal contribution of $300,000 will be split among 600 independent bookstore employees across the country, including Ross.
