“It’s calm now, but in about ten minutes, it’ll be chaos,” said Danielle Jorgenson, the secretary of the Chaska Lions Club and a volunteer for this year’s Heroes and Helpers event.
She stood in a back room of the Chaska Super Target — surrounded by other volunteers, rolls of wrapping paper and folding tables — waiting for the next group of children to stream into the room with presents and holiday goodies needing to be wrapped.
