Head inside for more fun in Carver County!

Unique indoor recreation is the name of the game at The Burrow In Victoria. The highlight may be Axe-Throwing lanes, but other activities include 18-hole mini-golf and an impressive collection of classic arcade games.

Since 2015, the Chaska Curling Center has been a focal point of activity in Chaska. The arena includes six ice sheets, locker rooms and a player’s lounge. There are year-round leagues and periodic national competitions, which spectators can view from the attached Crooked Pint Ale House.

Waconia is home to the Grage Bowl & Bar, a family-owned boutique sports bar and bowling alley in a historic century-old building.

The Chanhassen Recreation Center facilities include an aerobic/dance room, fitness room, gym and meeting rooms. No pre-registration is required, allowing users to pay as they use it without yearly membership fees.

Residents and visitors enjoy the various activities possible at the Chaska Community Center. Mulptie gymnasiums, racquetball courts and a two-rink ice arena are always busy. Multiple fitness areas ensure group fitness, personal training and fitness classes have a spot. Lap swim and open swim times allow all users to find time to get in the pool. The Lodge serves those 55 years and older.

Part gathering place and part athletic center, the Cologne Community Center can host small or large social functions for up to 400 people. Recreation facilities include a gymnasium and a climbing wall.

The Mayer Community Center, located at 413 Bluejay Avenue and is home to our City office, City Council Chambers, Planning Commission meetings and other City functions.

The Community Center is also an ideal place for weddings, social events, and company parties. The Community Center will accommodate up to 350 people. The center is equipped with a handicapped ramp to the gym floor.

The city does not provide set-up/take down or decorating.

Attached to Waconia High School, the Safari Island Community Center offers activities for all ages. Aquatics include a lap pool with 1m diving boards, a 175' slide and an indoor zero-depth entry pool. Kids love the Lion's Den, a four-level indoor play structure, while all ages enjoy a fitness center, indoor track, four-court gymnasium and batting cages.

The VRC has a fitness center, gymnasium, ice arena, indoor walking track and meeting rooms. The newest addition will be outdoor pickleball courts, beginning in the summer of 2023.
