Easter Egg Candy Hunt & Coloring Contest

Overview 
Thank you to everyone that came out to the 2024 Easter Egg Candy Hunt! We had another great year, with close to 2,000 community members taking part the hunt. We hope to see you next year!

2025 Easter Egg Candy Hunt: Saturday, April 19
Wave 1: 9:00 a.m.
Wave 2: 10:00 a.m.
City Center Park

The City of Chanhassen’s Easter Egg Candy Hunt annually draws over 800 children (plus their family members). Kids ages 12 & under hunt for candy and eggs in three different age categories: 4 & under, 5-7, and 8-12. Participants have the chance to find special eggs that are redeemable for prizes and can also enjoy a special appearance from the Easter Bunny!

Coloring Contest
Submit entries by Sunday, April 20.

Coloring contest pages are free and available at City Hall, the Chanhassen Recreation Center, and can be downloaded below. Entries will be judged according to age category, ages 0-12. Participation is free.

There are three options for turning in your entries:

Drop off at Chanhassen City Hall or the Chanhassen Recreation Center by 3 p.m. on Friday, April 18.
Drop off at the Easter Egg Candy Hunt: Saturday, April 19.
Online submission below by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, April 20.
